SSL's Listen Mic Compressor in 500-series format. Originally a side-effect of the talkback mic circuit on E/G consoles — engineers discovered the squashed-to-hell talkback sound was incredible on drums (Phil Collins famously used it on "In The Air Tonight"). Now you can patch it on any channel. Aggressive, vibey, NOT subtle. The opposite of the G Bus.
