Eventide
The Eventide H3000 — the studio multi-effects rack of the late 80s and 90s. THE classic harmonizer + delay + chorus + reverb + pitch shifter that lived on the vocal chain of every major studio (Quad Eckhart, Electric Lady, Hit Factory, Skywalker). The "808 + H3000" combo is how a generation of pop, R&B, and hip-hop got that sheen. Diatonic harmonizer was revolutionary. Still emulated in plugins today (UAD, Eventide's own Anthology).
