EL8X Distressor Compressor with British Mod

The Distressor is the modern compressor that earned classic status in a decade. Designed by Dave Derr (ex-Eventide), it nails a different vintage flavor on every ratio button — 2:1 is gentle bus glue, 4:1 is the kitchen-sink workhorse, 10:1 is the 1176 with attitude, and 20:1 is a brick wall. NUKE mode flattens drums. The British Mod adds a hot 1176-style "all-buttons-in" mode plus an extra Image Link circuit for stereo. The X stands for British + Image — Nick's is the EL8X variant with both.
